Pioneer Wooden Toys was established in 1980 and was based in Paerata just outside of Pukekohe, I brought the business after realising wasn't content or even happy in the corporate world.

Woodworking has been a lifelong passion of mine, I've found it therapeutical and gives me a sense of self satisfaction and pride, I've never felt before, and after my battle with Prostate Cancer my families as well, we have decided business for good is the only way forward, hence our focus on charity awareness and giving back.
